The first thing you notice about the All Terrain Wagons is their tires. Their air inflated tires give these wagons a smooth ride. These tires also allow the wagons to go over a wide variety of surfaces - dirt, sand, grass as well as pavement. And these air tires, along with these wagons' beefy construction, allow them to carry the heaviest loads of any of the Radio Flyer Wagons.
The #1800 Big Red Classic All Terrain Wagon is the ATW version of the #18 Classic Red Wagon. Similarly, the #32 All-Terrain Steel and Wood Wagon and Wood Wagon is the ATW version of the best selling #22 Trav-ler Wagon. It has wooden sides that are screwed onto the metal wagon frame. We also carry the #29 All-Terrain Cargo Wagon ATW wagons - our largest wagon. It is a wooden wagon with wooden stake sides that slide on. These stake side wagons work well not only to pull your children or their stuff, but can also be used to haul large loads either with the sides on or with them off in their flatbed mode.
These wagons also feature the different design features that make Radio Flyer wagons so functional, safe and easy to use. These include:
- A. "No-pinch" ball joint keeps kids' fingers from being pinched between the handle and the wagon undercarriage.
- B. Controlled turning radius prevents tipping.
- C. "No-scratch" rolled edges conceal metal edges to keep kids safe.
- D. Natural wood body with sanded, non-toxic finish - smooth on kids' hands.
